Bandung is one of the most favorite destinations during the Lebaran holiday. The tourists flock to the city, in addition to emigrant workers and students who return there to spend their holidays.
As one of the tourism hubs in West Java, Bandung seems to always present new and exciting tourist destinations. One of them is Sarae Hills, located in Puncak Ciumbuleuit (Punclut) in Lembang. It recently becomes famous for presenting the world’s iconic buildings.
This venue can be an option to spend the holiday with your family when you’re on a mudik trip to Bandung. It offers numerous unique spots, where people of different ages, from children to elders, can enjoy.
Sitting on 2.5 hectares of land in Jalan Pagermaneuh, Pagerwangi, Lembang, Sarae Hills was recently opened in December 2021. The area has at least 10 replicas of the world’s iconic buildings. Visiting this place offers you the sensation of traveling around the world.
The replicas are perfect for the backgrounds of aesthetic photography. There are Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower of France, the Statue of Liberty of the USA, Sphinx and Pyramids of Egypt, the Colosseum of Rome, Italy, and Santorini of Greece. You need to buy the entrance ticket for IDR 80,000/pax to enjoy yourself and take some pictures in Sarae Hills.
The price is worthy of all the available facilities there, so no need for you to worry. Interestingly, Sarae Hills provides you a passport to explore the beautiful replicas of the world’s iconic buildings.
You need to travel by vehicle for around 30-40 minutes from downtown Bandung to reach this place, but it depends on the traffic. The traffic is fully packed on weekends, and it might takes longer to get there. After you finish your ‘around-the-world’ travel in Sarae Hills, don’t forget to try some cuisine in cafes and restaurants near the entrance.
You can enjoy various kinds of food and beverages, from coffee, bread, to hearty meals. There are several restaurants and cafes to choose from, such as Dago Bakery Punclut, Tafso, and Boda Barn.
If you’re craving some snacks, Dago Bakery Punclut can be the option. As the name suggests, the menus are dominated by various kinds of bread and cakes.
However, you must pay the entrance ticket for IDR 20,000/pax that you can exchange with any bread or cakes at the price range of IDR 6,000-18,000. Its building bears the feature of a castle, making it instagrammable. You can take some pictures at several best spots there.
This cafe is the best place to enjoy some coffee in Sarae Hills. Tafso Barn, with its aesthetic design, provides indoor and outdoor areas with captivating scenery.
With the IDR 15,000/pax entrance ticket, you can have the unforgettable experience of enjoying coffee. Located on the hill of Puncak Ciumbuleuit, the presented panorama will melt your heart.
