Witnessing the Beauty of Nusa Dua, Home of the 2022 G20 Summit

Bali’s Nusa Dua has enjoyed increasing popularity after hosting the 2022 G20 Summit. Hundreds of delegates, including heads of state from various countries in the world, were amazed by both the natural and cultural beauty as well as the hospitality of the Balinese people. Located in the southern part of Bali, Nusa Dua has always been known as one of the most fascinating places in Bali. Do you want to experience Nusa Dua? You can experience Nusa Dua first by visiting various places in the area.

Five travel destinations in Nusa Dua, Bali

There are not one but four beaches in the so-called Nusa Dua Beach area

The Nusa Dua area is home to not one but four beaches: Samuh Beach, Mengiat Beach, Geger Beach, and Sawangan Beach. The four beaches possess almost the same character, a stretch of white sand that will humbly greet you as you arrive.

Rows of beach chairs are neatly arranged on each beach, ready to welcome you and let you sunbathe while enjoying a whole coconut ice juice. The waters here tend to be shallow, so you can bring your children to play in the water or build sandcastles on the shore while safely supervised. Because tides are common, you can find numerous marine biotas like starfish and others between the sands at low tide.

Want to create a memory that lasts? You can take pictures while riding a camel on the beach or enjoy diving in the coral reef garden on the coast of Nusa Dua Beach. Beaches in Nusa Dua are also perfect for enjoying sunrises and sunsets, you just need to explore all sides of Nusa Dua.

Playing Water in the Water Blow

Located around the beaches of Nusa Dua, Water Blow offers a natural phenomenon you won’t find anywhere else. As the name implies, Water Blow is a splash of water crashing into a gap in the surrounding rock wall, thus creating a captivating large-scale splash.

The best way to enjoy the Water Blow is to climb the bridge close to the crashing water and prepare to get wet. If you want to avoid getting wet, distance yourself from the splash. This area operates daily from 09.00-17.00, and you can get in by paying IDR 15,000 admission fee for domestic tourists and IDR 25,000 for foreign tourists. The price is affordable when compared to what you will get.

The Contemporary Pasifika Museum

Located not far from the main venue of the G20 Summit, which was The Apurva Kempinski Hotel, Pasifika Museum also hosted one of the side events of the G20 Summit. Some of the G20 events held at the Pasifika Museum were the closing of the G20 Education Working Group (EdWG G20) and the Welcoming Dinner of Delegates of the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCC).

The Pasifika Museum showcases works of art focused on the Asia Pacific region. More than hundreds of permanent artworks are showcased here, ranging from the works of great Indonesian artists like Raden Saleh and Gusti Nyoman Lempad to world-renowned artists such as Paul Gauguin and Henri Rousseau. On certain days, you can see you treat yourself to seeing exhibitions as well as other artistic performances such as music concerts. Apart from that, you can also participate in several activities such as painting, gamelan, and Balinese dance classes. Exciting!
