A Gem in a Strategic Location

Nestled within the Soekarno Science and Technology Area (KST) on Jalan Raya Jakarta-Bogor No.KM 46, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, the Animalium BRIN stands. Spanning 198 hectares.

The KST Soekarno area was initiated by President Soekarno in 1964. Conveniently situated near the Citeureup toll gate and Sentul 1 toll gate on the Jagorawi toll road, Animalium BRIN is easily accessible. For ease of navigation, you can use online map apps.

Quality Education at Friendly Prices

Animalium BRIN offers three types of tickets: a comprehensive group education package designed for school field trips and individual educational visits for both school-aged children and adults.

The comprehensive group education package costs IDR 2.5 million for 25 individuals and includes tickets for 2 chaperones, educational guides, and a package of exclusive Animalium binders, question sheets, and colored stationery for each visitor. Affordable and all-inclusive!

Tickets for school-aged children for self-education range from IDR 95,000 to IDR 100,000 for weekend visits, inclusive of the equipment received in the group package.

Adults are charged IDR 75,000 - IDR 85,000 and receive booklets and stationery. However, please note that guide services are not included in tickets for individual visitors!

Animalium BRIN's collection is divided into groups to help visitors' understanding of different animal types. You'll find groups of aves (birds), reptiles, mammals, and more.

All animal replicas are true-to-life, made to match the size of their real-life counterparts! To enhance the learning experience, several exhibits are equipped with interactive touch screens.

Meet Live Animals

In addition to life-size replicas, Animalium BRIN also houses live animals studied by BRIN researchers. Dozens of creatures, such as a variety of birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals, insects, and reptiles, can be viewed in cages or artificial habitats mimicking their natural environments.

Enhance Your Experience with a Guide

While Animalium BRIN provides comprehensive written information, it is advisable to hire a guide for your visit, especially if you're visiting independently rather than as part of a group. For only IDR 150,000, the Educational Guide service can cater up to 8 visitors.

Your guide will share insights on the diverse collections, with one guided tour typically lasting around 2.5 hours. So, don't be shy with your questions.

Animalium BRIN is open from 08.00 to 16.00 every day except Monday. Much like other educational tourism services, Animalium BRIN closes on Mondays, so plan your visit accordingly.
