Curug Citambur is situated in Warungserab Village, Karangjaya Village, Pasirkuda District, Cianjur Regency, West Java Province. Its location is not far from the border of Bandung Regency and Cianjur Regency, and many people access this destination from Bandung.

 

It takes at least 3 hours to reach Curug Citambur from the center of Bandung City, and up to 4 hours if you take the route via Cianjur.

 

To get up close and enjoy the stunning view of Curug Citambur, you are required to pay an admission fee of only IDR 10,000. This fee is used to maintain the facilities and surroundings of the Curug Citambur Tourism Area.

 

However, if you only want to catch a glimpse of it from a distance, like from the yard of Abah Jajang's house, there's no fixed fee. But it's always a good idea to bring a souvenir for Abah Jajang as a token of your appreciation!

 

 

 

The Tallest Waterfall in West Java

 

Curug Citambur is the tallest waterfall in West Java, standing at an impressive height of 130 meters. It is also believed to be the 7th tallest waterfall in Indonesia. Curug Citambur is a multilevel waterfall, consisting of three parts.

 

The highest part of the waterfall is only 2 meters tall and can be a bit difficult to see. The middle part, which is 116 meters high, is the main attraction and can often be viewed from a distance, including from Abah Jajang's house.

 

The lowest part of the waterfall can be seen up close when you get closer to the waterfall area, making the beauty of Curug Citambur even more enchanting. Even though it is only 12 meters tall, it is decorated with stone steps and adds to the overall beauty of the waterfall.
