Malang, East Java, currently has a popular camping spot that captures the public’s attention, called Bedengan Campground. It is located at the foot of Mount Panderman, Dau District, Malang Regency. The campground is only 30 minutes of travel from Malang town square.
It offers the charm of a refreshing natural panorama. As you enter the campsite, breathtaking scenery unfolds, including towering pine trees and the refreshing Metro River.

Bedengan Malang Campground is in Jl. Raya Selokerto, Godehan, Selorejo, Dau District, Malang Regency. It is about 13 kilometers from Malang city center.
From Malang town square, you will only need to drive for 30 minutes. There are three routes you can choose. You can start via Jalan Dieng Atas, Jalan Bandulan, or Jalan Karangampel Timur.
The closest route is via Jalan Dieng Atas, which takes Jalan Kauman towards Jalan KH Hasyim Asyari. Next, take Jalan Kawi towards Jalan Terusan Kawi in Gading Asri. Take Jalan Terusan Dieng and go straight to Jalan Gumuk.
Around 11 kilometers from there, you will arrive in Jalan Selokerto, Selorejo, the main road to the campground entrance.
Bedengan Malang Campground is open 24/7. However, the camping equipment rental will operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. only. If you plan to rent camping equipment, make sure to arrive before 8 p.m.
The entrance ticket for Bedengan Malang is only 10 thousand rupiahs for adults and 5 thousand rupiahs for children. Note that this entrance ticket does not include camping fees. The camping fees are 20 thousand rupiahs for adults and 10 thousand rupiahs for children.
Camping equipment has varied fees. You can rent various gear, from tents and lamps to cooking equipment, for 60 thousand rupiahs to 600 thousand rupiahs.
The area of the Bedengan Malang tourist complex is 13.7 hectares, while the camping area covers 2.5 hectares and is spread across 17 camping spots.
In addition to camping sites, Bedengan Malang provides some supporting facilities, including the information center, food stalls, toilets, and a large parking area.
At Bedengan Campground, you can enjoy many exciting activities, such as cooling off in the Metro River, outbounds, skateboarding in the skate park, or capturing moments in several photo spots. There’s never a dull moment in Bedengan Campground.
