Bali never runs out of tourist attractions. There will always be a newly discovered place of wonders that successfully catches everyone’s attention.
And recently, the Island of Gods has once again stolen the show on social media. If you’ve been following the trends lately, you must’ve heard about the music video (MV) of “Sugar Rush Ride”, a song by the Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT).
The MV,, which was published on YouTube on January 28, 2023, has been trending, amassing 18 million views only in a single day. Just, wow! One of the aspects of the MV that have been talked about the most is where it was filmed.
Many thought that green screens or computer-generated imagery (CGI) technology was used in the making of the video.
As it turns out, however, one of TXT’s members, Yeonjun, has confirmed that the video was not made using green screens; it was filmed directly in several tourist attractions in Bali.
He was astonished by the natural wonders the places had to offer. “No, I swear no green screen was used. The places were just amazing,” Yeonjun said in a TikTok video, appearing together with Jaejae.
Four natural attractions located in various locations around Bali were featured in this latest MV from the boy band, and each place has its own uniqueness. They are the beach, savanna, waterfall, and forest. Want to learn more? We’ve made only for you a list of the places. Here it is.
The MV opens with a view of Gunung Payung Beach. If you are visiting Bali, be sure to check out the incredible landscape the beach holds.
While it is less popular than the other beaches, such as Kuta, Jimbaran, Dreamland, Tanjung Benoa, and Pandawa, Gunung Payung Beaches, with the beauty it showcases, is too good to be missed.
Adjoining Pandawa Beach, the beach offers the same breathtaking view. You can stroll along the coast while enjoying the gentle breeze drifting through its soft white sand blanket.
With a hill to climb, you can enjoy the graceful panorama of the beach from above. It is an excellent place to unwind, and in the company of your beloved, it would be perfect. Love is in the air!
The next on the list is a waterfall located in Buleleng Regency. Graced with three separate streams in the same site, the waterfall hosts unique grandeur to behold.
Situated in Wanagiri Village in Sukasada, Buleleng, this place is reachable with a 63-kilometer trip from Denpasar, which is approximately equal to a 2-hour drive. But relax! The tedious, long-distance trip is worth it once the waterfall’s cool water spray greets you when you arrive.
When you lay your eyes on the savanna, you will immediately realize that it is so picturesque. You will agree with us that Tianyar Savanna is among the best destinations in Bali.
If the beauty of beaches in Bali that people mostly talk about does not quite excite you, you can visit this other kind of natural wonder the island has to offer.
The savanna holds vast, green expanses that extend for miles. Set in Kubu in Karangasem Regency, Tianyar Savanna is right at the base of the great Mount Agung.
Many have likened it to African savannas. You can agree or not on that one, but with the scenic Mount Agung as the backdrop, arguably, no savanna offers a more beautiful view than this one.
Don’t believe us? You can see it for yourself and get ready to enjoy the Earth’s wonders, created when God cast a smile upon nature.
Bali Botanical Garden in Bedugul is a public garden that also serves as the “lungs of Bali”. Like a dome of fresh air, the garden should make it onto the list of destinations you must visit when traveling to Bali.
Sitting on 157 hectares of land, Bali Botanical Garden ranks among the largest botanical gardens in Indonesia. Since the place is situated at the height of around 1,400 meters above sea level, it is fairly chill in there, with the average temperature reaching 16 degree Celsius.
Like a protected forest, the garden is home to all sorts of flora. The most unique feature of it is undoubtedly the large trees shown in the video, with their big, above-the-ground roots. We bet this one will make its way onto your Instagram profile.
Those are Bali’s tourist attractions that have recently become a hot topic thanks to TXT’s latest MV. If you plan to go on a trip to Bali soon, be sure to check out these amazing, Yeonjun-approved locations.
